Who made this: We're the Surcharge Sweep team, and Bills Sweep is our own product. Your statement is read in this browser tab only. Nothing is uploaded, stored or sent to any AI. Detection is rule-based: it can miss charges or flag ones that aren't subscriptions, so check each item. We show what you're paying, not a savings estimate. Payment for the full report is handled by Stripe, which receives your payment details and email for the receipt; we receive confirmation that you paid. No cookies or analytics.
Disclaimer: General information only, not legal or financial advice (and not tax advice). Bills Sweep lists what your file shows. It doesn't recommend any provider, plan or product, and what you keep or cancel is your decision.
1. Add your bank CSV
Your file stays in this browser tab: it is read here and never uploaded. This page makes no network requests with your data and loads no analytics or tracking scripts.
CSV only for now (no PDFs or screenshots). 12 months of transactions works best: yearly charges need about 12 months to show up.
Or paste the transactions as text
How to get a CSV from your bank
In your internet banking, open the account, find the option to export or download transactions, pick a date range (up to 12 months) and choose CSV. CommBank's CSV has no headings (date, amount, description, balance) and is read as it is. For other layouts, check the columns in step 2.
Credit card accounts work too. Do one account at a time.
2. Check the columns
3. Free preview
Top 3 by yearly cost
Full report: A$9, one-off
The free preview shows the totals and the top 3. The full report adds:
- every recurring charge found, with why it was flagged and a tick-box to mark it reviewed
- a price-rise timeline (old amount, new amount and the date it changed)
- possible duplicates, and charges that look like they stopped
- links to the account or billing page for common services, and neutral wording you can use to ask a supplier about a charge
- a printable A4 view and a CSV download
A$9 one-off. No subscription.
No payment is taken here.
After paying you come back to a new page that reads your file again. If you tick this box, your transactions are kept in this browser tab's session storage until you close the tab, so you don't have to add the file again. Leave it unticked and you'll add the file again after paying. Either way, nothing is uploaded.
14-day refund: if the Bills Sweep full report isn't right for you, email us within 14 days of buying and we'll refund the full A$9, no questions asked. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law: if the report has a major problem, you can ask for a replacement or refund, and you're entitled to compensation for other reasonably foreseeable loss. Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually in 5-10 business days. To ask, email be4westart@gmail.com with the email you bought with.
Repeat it now and then, for example at BAS time, to spot new charges and price rises.
